David Caruso: Thanks to HeidiHo!

As much as it pains us to acknowledge such a character flaw, we owe a bit of gratitude to Heidi Schnitzer, aka HeidiHo, David Caruso's Stalker Supreme. Our recent steroidal-like conditioning at the keyboard of HeidiHo has expanded our tolerance for the naturally distastful and the repugnant for short periods of time. That enhancement was put to the test tonight.

We're referring to having spent a full hour with Entertainment Tonight and The Insider blaring (or seemingly so) behind us. They spouting every conceivable bit of nonsense about various celebrity's private lives, including witnessing Dana Delaney's mammogram, interspersed every 30 seconds or so with another announcement of their "new home" or "new set" or whatever. We had no knowledge of the old, so would have no interest in the new. Nor are we particularly interested in viewing a celebrity's medical procedure; we don't like viewing our own.

In any event, we were under the impression ET (maybe Insider, since they seem to be part of the package) would be on the set of CSI Miami on Tuesday, today, with the cast (David Caruso, Emily, Adam and Jonathan were mentioned) answering questions submitted by fans and viewers online. Several emailers requested we watch and report because they either don't get it or it's on NBC, which is showing the Olympics. True to our word, we did as we were asked. Thank you, one and all. There will be no encore.

We've paid our dues. We tolerated the entire hour. Any word about CBS Miami? Not one syllable. So, folks, you're on your own with this one. The entire cast of CSI Miami frolicking nude on South Beach for ET's cameras couldn't lure us back to ET and The Insider.

Yes, we'll check it out to see if there's a specific date. Will we watch? Thanks for your concern. We'll catch it online later.........................................

Not sure what happened there but thanks for you tolerance and effort. I might just be swayed to watch it if the entire CSI Miami cast were to frollick......! Lol! Can we set that up for next year?

What happened was my usual non-existent tolerance for those kinds of programs.
As I've mentioned to several others, those shows are syndicated. Whether we're getting the most recent and whether a spot like "on the CSI Miami" set will be used on a slow celebrity news day are open to question. Although, tonight they talked about Ellen's and Portia's wedding and Christina's double mastectomy, so I assume they're up to date.

After tonight, I'd require a "frolic guarantee".

Did they say they were going to be on the set Today asking questions, or that the segment would air today?
I'm confussed. I submitted a question and would like to see if they asked it.
However, I'm with you in your opinion on those shows, I don't watch them. I only watch certian segments online.

Those 2 topics are also on their website with vids. Ah well, anothjer day. One would think that the ET liaison with CSI M cast would appear when whatever epi they are filming at that time comes to TV??

Like others, I seldom watch these shows. I gave up on them when they
found one "lost" film too many. (Tonight was no exception.) Their media, or library dept., must really be a mess!

But such is my interest in all things David Caruso/CSI:Miami that I watched every minute tonight, thinking, like others, that Ellen's wedding must have been the higher priority. Luckily, I only devoted half-an-hour to the show. Their new set seems overly glitzy to me, no doubt they are aiming for the HD market. My heart goes out to Dana Delaney, but wish she had been on a morning news show where we could probably have had a more in-depth coverage.

We will probably see the "Miami" lhlixvvssurvey, but I am thinking they will have to "lose" the film so they can rediscover it on a slow news day.

kroselynn - You're right. They only said they would "be on the set of CSI Miami" today. They didn't mention an air date because it hasn't been scheduled......... waiting for that slow news day.

shelby - Yep, they're readying for the HD changeover. I agree Dana's spot would have done better in the am, as Christina's was, with Robin (who's also a survivor) interviewing her.

lindy - Probably closer to air date, but somewhat prior. I say that because most markets here get the show in the evening, making it too close to air time for a Monday. When any of the cast are on the morning show, it's usually Monday morning.

Does anyone know if they announce what's going to be on and when on their site? I'm sure not going to watch it from now till September 22nd.
